מיספיטס היא להקת הורור פאנק אשר ליריקת השירים שלהם עוסקת בעיקר באימה בשילוב עם אהבה,גימיק הלהקה הוא האיפור המפחיד הדומה לסמל הלהקה,לרוב הקליפים של הלהקה משולב עם חלקים מסרטי אימה,הלהקה הוקמה בשנות השבעים על ידי הגיטריסט דוייל ואחיו הקטן ג'רי.
ישנם שירים שבהם במקום הסולן(מייקל) חבר להקה אחר שר.
